about

Written especially for the album.

From the Caramel Snow website: 'Caramel Snow is a breed of snake, and a sweet dessert. It also refers to the famed editor of Harper's Bazaar from 1933 to 1957. Caramel Snow is also this "band" which is one person, but could potentially be more, and occasionally is.

People who know things about music have compared Caramel Snow to White Fence, The Wake, Orange Cake Mix, The Field Mice, The Anthony Rochesters, and Simple Carnival. Many listeners have mentioned The Velvet Underground as an obvious influence, but I have not really listened much to the VU. I would include my most important influences as: The Beatles, Roxy Music, Bowie, 60's Psychedelic and Chamber Pop, 70's Post Punk, 80's Darkwave, and 90's Shoegaze'.
