In it's present incarnation Bunnygrunt has been around since 2003, however they initially formed in 1993, only to split in 1998. The Twee/Cuddlecore combo has been labelled by All Music as 'the world's cutest band'. There are half a dozen or so albums and best of compilations that are well worth checking out. Keeping it Christmassy, their song "Season's Freakling's" appeared on the Bad Santa movie soundtrack. Their contribution to Have Yourself a Merry Indie Christmas can be found on their brand new release 'Seasoned Freaklings: 30 Years of Holiday Hits By The Grand Elves Of Midwest Twee'.
Dan Tanswell, in his book It's All About Twee Pop, lists Bunnygrunt as one of the main players in the Cuddlecore movement, ranking them alongside The Primitives, The Vivian Girls, Heavenly and Dolly Mixture.
