A smart and energetic pop band that lived along the edges of the Los Angeles paisley underground scene in the 1980s, Wednesday Week were the brainchild of guitarist, singer, and songwriter Kristi Callan (David Gray, Dave Davies, The Ventures) and her sister Kelly Callan (Dragster Barbie, The Mistaken, Narrow Adventure) who played drums and contributed backing vocals. Heidi Rodewald ( Passing Strange) joined in 1983, and in 1984 she and the Callan sisters recorded Christmas Here with Tom Alford (The Point) guesting on lead guitar at the legendary Radio Tokyo Studios with Ethan James producing.
